Your Opportunity:Acrylic Design Associates is looking for an Acrylic Fabricator to join the team in Plymouth, MN

The Acrylic Fabricator is responsible for manufacturing high-quality acrylic products by cutting, machining, bending, bonding, polishing, assembling, and finishing acrylic components according to engineering drawings and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality products while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
  • Cut, route, saw, drill, bend, polish, and bond acrylic materials to specification.
  • Assemble acrylic products using adhesives, mechanical fasteners, and other fabrication techniques.
  • Inspect parts throughout the fabrication process to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding production schedules and job status.
  • Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, or process improvements.
  • Assist with packaging finished products to ensure safe shipment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

You Must Have:

  • Previous fabrication, manufacturing, woodworking, plastics, or acrylic fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read measuring tools and blueprints accurately.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience working with acrylic or other plastics.
  • Knowledge of adhesives, polishing, and finishing techniques.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.

Requirements Within This position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing facility with exposure to machinery, power tools, dust, and noise.
  • Frequent standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Requires safe handling of large acrylic sheets and finished products.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.00 - 21.00 The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
