In this role you will beassistingin all aspects of Government acquisition processes, contract businesssupportand contract analysis.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Develop, technicallyassessand update program and project deliverables and documentation, including contract deliverables.
Create draft government acquisition strategies, requests for proposals (RFPs), and supporting documentation for government review asrequired
Assistin all aspects of Government acquisition processes, contract businesssupportand contract analysis. Document,updateand make recommendations for contract document submittals. Products include but are not limited to the following: technical evaluations of basis of estimates (BOE)s in proposals
Acquisition strategy plans, documents and briefings, sole source justification & approval (J&A) memoranda, requests for proposals (RFPs) draft performance work statement (PWS)
Work breakdown structure summary (WBS), contract data requirementslists(CDRLs), incentive plans, financing plans, proposal instructions, and evaluation criteria
Analyses and recommendations for program reporting, development of program and project briefings, documentation configuration/control, action tracking, and coordination of documentation review process.
Integrate program/project tasks and provide technical assessment,evaluationand recommendations for post-RFP release activities, to include sole source fact finding, proposal technical evaluations, and negotiations and competitive sourceselectionspecialized support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts
7+ years’ experience PM/Acquisition/Contracting experience in relevant fields
2+ years of NSSL, Launch/Range, DoD, or NASA or industry specific experience
Background in government weapon systems acquisitions and/or government contracting strongly desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft tools including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Information Technology (IT) systems and SharePoint-type databases.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must have a Secret Security Clearance
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantlyoperatesa computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator,machineand computer printer.
Frequently communicates with co-workers,managementand customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchangeaccurateinformation in these situations.
