
Amentum is seeking an Acoustic Engineering Technician II to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission on Andros Island, Bahamas AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
This role involves supporting acoustic engineers in the testing, measurement, and analysis of sound and vibration for the AUTEC Project. The technician will support dockside and at-sea acoustic and environmental sensor testing for surface ships. This position requires setting up equipment, conducting field and laboratory tests, and maintaining calibration records to ensure accurate acoustic data collection for mission-critical projects.
