Job Description

The Amazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) Quality team is looking for a committed Process and Systems Engineer (PSE) with a strong record of achieving results to own and drive continuous improvement, process standardization, and operational excellence across First Mile Operations. This role will partner with site multiple leadership levels and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and cost within the Brazil network.

Key job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end process improvement initiatives across ICQA functions, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodology and data-driven analysis.
- Establish and maintain benchmarking standards, setting network-level goals and driving process sustainability and standardization across multiple sites.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Technology teams to identify network-level opportunities, eliminate process variation, and deploy scalable solutions.
- Drive stakeholder development by building continuous improvement culture, and coaching site leadership on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional projects end-to-end, including scoping, chartering, executing, and sustaining improvements with measurable business impact.
- Analyze operational data to identify root causes of performance gaps, develop actionable insights, and implement corrective actions.
- Support technology deployment and automation initiatives to improve operations efficiency, inventory accuracy, and reduce defects.
- Create and maintain standard work documentation, SOPs, and best practices for ICQA processes.
- Influence senior leadership through data-driven recommendations and strategic program updates (WBR, MBR, QBR).

Basic Qualifications


- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques, or experience in similar environments
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing strategic initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- Industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or a related field
- Experience communicating effectively with senior leadership
- Experience with data and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Master's degree or above in engineering, management, or technology, or Master's degree or above in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience in operations management of fulfillment or distribution centers
- Experience managing training programs or teams across multiple sites or regions
- Knowledge of compensation/total rewards, talent management, performance management, compliance, and organization design and development
- Experience with project management
