Job Description

JOB TITLE: Youth Development Professional WAGE/HOUR STATUS: Hourly Rate

REPORTS TO: ACE Facilitator PAY GRADE: Temp

DEPT/SCHOOL: Varies DAYS EMPLOYED: Per Schedule

DATE REVISED: September 2021

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Works directly with after school students on campus implementation of academic, enrichment and recreational activities in accordance with curriculum plans of ACE Program and in accordance with policies and procedures of Seguin Independent School District.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience working with children is preferred.

High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education agency.

OTHER INFORMATION:

  • Working Hours:
  • E.S. 3:00 PM-6:30 PM during program scheduled days.
  • M.S. 3:15 PM-6:45 PM during program scheduled days.

During the 2021-22 school year, 475 students graduated from Seguin High Schoo. These students earned more than 1 Million dollars in scholarship awards.

Seguin ISD is part of District 14-5A which includes Buda Johnson, Comal Canyon, Dripping Springs, Kyle Lehman, SA Veterans Memorial, SA Harlandale and SA McCollum high schools.
