Job Description

Arriva is a leading European passenger transport partner, operating in 11 countries across the UK and Europe. We employ around 35,000 people and deliver more than 1.5 billion passenger journeys each year, connecting people and communities safely, reliably and sustainably.

Following our acquisition by I Squared Capital in 2024, Arriva is continuing to invest in innovation and digital capability across our transport networks. This includes the development and enhancement of the Arriva Customer Engine (ACE) platform, which supports customer experience and operational delivery across our businesses.

We are now looking for an ACE Delivery Analyst to support the successful delivery and continuous improvement of the ACE platform across Arriva UK Trains, UK Bus and future product clients.

Reporting to the ACE Delivery Lead, you will play a key role in supporting platform releases, coordinating delivery activities, and ensuring changes are implemented in line with functional, compliance and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Support & Analysis

  • Assist in planning and coordinating ACE platform releases, ensuring dependencies, risks and timelines are clearly documented and managed.
  • Analyse business and non-functional requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications for development teams and suppliers.

Change & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the management of change requests and platform improvement initiatives.
  • Track delivery progress and report on status, risks and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of defects, risks and dependencies throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Testing Coordination

  • Work closely with the ACE Testing Team to prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans and define entry and exit criteria.
  • Ensure test results are captured, documented and communicated effectively.
  • Provide additional support for UAT and smoke testing when required.

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure delivery activities align with Arriva’s Cyber Security and Information Assurance Policy Framework.
  • Support compliance checks against legal, regulatory and architectural standards.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide clear and timely updates to ACE Product Managers, the ACE Delivery Lead and development partners on release schedules and delivery progress.
  • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure technical and service requirements are met.

What we'd like from you

We are looking for someone who combines strong analytical capability with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

You will bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally with experience supporting the delivery of digital platforms or technology products.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced delivery environment.
  • An understanding of compliance, cybersecurity and technical architecture principles (desirable).

Finally, we’re looking for candidates who align with Arriva’s values and are passionate about developing people, supporting growth and helping to build the future leadership pipeline across the organisation.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 5 April 2026 Arriva Group reserves the right to close this vacancy early.
