Summary:
The ACE Accreditation Liaison serves as the organization’s engagement and support liaison for the Accredited Center of Excellence (ACE) program. This role provides high‑level guidance, education, and support to agencies pursuing accreditation, maintaining accreditation, or exploring the process for the first time, as well as agencies formerly accredited. The ACE Accreditation Liaison is responsible for responding to inquiries, conducting proactive outreach to ACE centers worldwide, and ensuring agencies receive accurate, timely, and expert-level assistance. This is a hybrid role and is based in our Salt Lake City office.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all ACE related questions, including application requirements, timelines, standards, and troubleshooting.
- Proactively reach out to current, former, and prospective ACE agencies to offer support, guidance, and assistance throughout the accreditation lifecycle.
- Offer subject matter expertise to internal teams and external stakeholders as needed.
- Review ACE applications and re accreditation materials as assigned.
- Track and follow up on ACE compliance issues and provide detailed reports to agencies, leadership, and relevant stakeholders.
- Create, deliver, and maintain educational materials, training programs, and presentations related to ACE standards, accreditation, and ED Q best practices.
- Maintain and update ACE related databases and records with high levels of accuracy and organization.
- Generate reports, summaries, and documentation to support accreditation tracking, program evaluation, and internal decision making.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of accreditation processes, tools, and resources.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Deep knowledge of IAED protocols, and a passion for supporting agencies in achieving and sustaining the highest standards in emergency dispatch excellence.
- Direct experience preparing or contributing to ACE applications for an Accredited Center of Excellence.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an ED Q with demonstrated expertise in ED Q processes and standards.
- Experience with at least two complete ACE accreditation cycles (preferred).
- Current certification in at least two of the following: EMD Q, EFD Q, EPD Q (all three preferred).
- Expert level knowledge and hands on proficiency with ProQA and AQUA software.
- Thorough understanding of the Emergency Priority Dispatch System (EPDS) protocols across disciplines.
- Expert level communication, project management, and presentation skills (written and oral).
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to work well with all levels of internal management, staff, and clients to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
Education and
Experience:
- 5+ years Emergency Service Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or industry equivalent certification (preferred)
Essential Job Functions/Physical Requirements:
- Serve as the primary point of contact while proactively supporting current and prospective ACE agencies
- Offer expertise to internal and external contacts on accreditation processes and requirements
- Maintain ACE related databases while leading the creation of reports, summaries, and documents
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to occasionally lift 10 to 25 pounds
- Concentrating for long periods of time
- Must be available to work weekends when required
- Must be available to travel approximately 10% of time
