This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and passionate about uncovering user insights that drive meaningful product outcomes.

  • Role & Responsibilities

User Research

  • Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research activities.
  • Facilitate user interviews, contextual inquiries, and field studies.
  • Understand workflows, pain points, behaviors, and user needs.
  • Support customer and stakeholder engagement activities.

Usability Testing

  • Design and execute usability studies.
  • Evaluate prototypes and existing products.
  • Identify usability challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to product teams.

Analysis & Insights

  • Synthesize research findings into concise reports.
  • Develop personas, journey maps, and experience maps.
  • Communicate insights through storytelling and presentations.
  • Support evidence-based product and design decisions.

Experience Measurement

  • Establish user experience metrics.
  • Conduct benchmarking and satisfaction studies.
  • Measure usability and adoption improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous product improvement initiatives.
  • Preferred
  • Enterprise software research experience.
  • Transportation, mobility, manufacturing, or industrial domain exposure.
  • Familiarity with analytics and behavioral data.
  • Experience working in Agile product environments.
  • Eligibility
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, HCI, Human Factors, Design Research, Sociology, Anthropology, or equivalent.
  • 2–6 years of UX Research experience.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
  • Experience conducting usability testing and interviews.
  • Strong analytical thinking and storytelling ability.
  • Experience communicating research findings to cross-functional teams.
  • Prospect
  • Explore new avenues of rail mobility by developing proposals on User Experience / Passenger Experience Design on different Alstom platforms.
  • Collaborate with Senior Mentor & Team members to brainstorm and create innovative design solutions to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Involve in Mobility design / CMF Design / trend research and provide insights for future physital solutions in larger ecosystem of Mass Mobility.
  • Engage in creating design presentations, visual content for UI / UX Assignments, design communication materials.
  • Contribute to an engaging, collaborative and a thriving studio culture.

Note: Contractual Role (06-12 Months) - With greater possibility for long-term extension, based on performance evaluation.
