nVent is seeking an accomplished Accounts Receivable Supervisor to lead the AR team in handling the full invoicing to collection cycle, ensuring accuracy, timely cash flow, and strong customer issue resolution.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Lead and mentor Accounts Receivable staff, including onboarding, training, and ongoing performance management.
  • Supervise day-to-day AR operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and effective resolution of late or skipped payments.
  • Lead all aspects of the full AR cycle, including business procedures, controls, and strategic goals for the region.
  • Handle escalated customer issues, deductions, disputes, and cost recovery matters, providing appropriate solutions.
  • Perform month-end close activities and prepare AR reporting, including aging, targets, cash forecasting support, and bad debt analysis.
  • Guide AR/Collections/Disputes teams in resolving sophisticated customer payment issues and implementing collection or hold strategies when needed.
  • Lead collection activities such as negotiating with past due accounts, investigating nonpayment, and expediting resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams on account analysis, reconciliations, ad hoc reporting, and audit requirements.
  • Identify and drive operational improvements and automation initiatives within Transactional Services.
  • Support ERP conversions and improvements, including system upgrades and GETPAID configuration for multi-ERP environments.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in credit, collections, or related AR functions preferred.
  • Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
  • 2+ years of managerial or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software platforms.
  • Composure, patience, and confidence when handling difficult or escalated situations.
