Your Mission

IEP Technologies (IEP) is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our team. The AR Specialist is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate and timely cash application, invoicing, statement distribution, and collection of past due balances. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.

How you will make a difference

• Daily Cash Postings - Accurately and timely post customer payments to the appropriate accounts on a daily basis.
• Research & Resolve Issues - Research and clear any issues with invoices that are stopped from getting paid, including pricing discrepancies, credits, holds, duplicate invoices, disputes, and other billing or account problems.
• Invoice Management - Ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and delivered in accordance with customer terms.
• Monthly Statements - Generate and send monthly statements to customers by the due date.
• Collections & Follow Up - Follow up with customers on past due invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence. Negotiate payment plans when necessary and document all customer interactions and promises to pay.
• Account Reconciliation - Reconcile customer accounts and resolve variances in a timely manner.
• Reporting - Maintain aging reports and other AR reports; escalate significant issues to management.

What you should be good at

• Minimum of three years Accounts Receivable experience, manufacturing experience helpful.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in ERP accounting systems, SAP experience preferable.
• Intermediate level skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Aging).
• Demonstrated skills in prioritization, problem solving, analysis, and time management.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent work experience over the minimum requirement); High school /GED required.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

• Competitive Pay: This is a salaried, non-exempt with a starting pay range from $60,000 to $72,000 per year. Compensation will be based upon qualifications and experience.
• Work Location: This role is based at the IEP Technologies facility in Marlborough, MA. The role will work onsite five days per week, with the opportunity to transition to Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote) based on performance after three months. Local candidates are encouraged to apply; relocation benefits are not offered for this role.
