Coastline Equity is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to help keep receivables accurate, documented, and moving through the right process. You will work with the Accounting team to review identified receipts, maintain clear follow-through on open and aging items, reconcile ordinary discrepancies, and surface exceptions early. This is an hourly accounting role supporting defined DRE-approved accounting-department duties under responsible-broker supervision; it is not a commission-sales position. Success means dependable cutoff discipline, source-backed records, concise escalation notes, and careful protection of confidential financial information.
Requirements
Active California real estate salesperson license; willingness and eligibility to perform the defined DRE-approved accounting duties under responsible-broker supervision; relevant accounts receivable, cash application, reconciliation, bookkeeping, or accounting operations experience; strong accuracy with dates, amounts, and supporting evidence; clear written communication; dependable follow-through; and willingness to learn AppFolio or an equivalent system. Preferred: property-management accounting or AppFolio experience, receivable aging, deposit or bank-reconciliation experience, and familiarity with ACH controls or Positive Pay. No guessing when money, coding, identity, bank information, or trust status is unclear.
Benefits
Hourly pay: $20-$24 based on experience. Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM. In-office at the Gardena Office, with expected relocation to San Pedro, CA when the office relocates. Additional employment details will be discussed during the hiring process.
