Mayflower Cruises & Tours, a national tour company, located in Lisle, IL, and a division of Scenic, USA is looking to hire a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team.

Join our dynamic team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our organization. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong grasp of financial processes and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. As an integral part of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the receivables process, ensuring timely and accurate recording of transactions, and maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers.

Role & Responsibilities:

Accurately record and document incoming receipts and payments into the company's financial systems
Facilitate electronic deposits of funds received, ensuring timely and secure transactions
Regularly reconcile customer payments with invoices and accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly
Generate and organize invoices for services rendered, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
Proactively communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and overdue payments, facilitating resolution and maintaining positive client relationships
Manage purchasing processes for office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Proven experience in administrative or finance-related roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent communication skills for effective customer correspondence.
Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
