We are inviting you to join Howden and become a trusted and valued member of our Accounts Receivable team, which is based in the Budapest Shared Service Centre. As a part of this vital team, you will manage the collections process, as well as the invoicing, cash application and credit check, where you will make sure that the Howden Global Business Service Centre meets all partner and customer requirements in a timely manner, as well as maximising cash flow, while minimising aged debt. Supporting customer and finance teams to ensure timely cash collection is also a priority all the while building and maintaining excellent partner relationships.

What Will You Do?

• Credit risk assessment and management
• Report all unusual, non-standard events & requests to the team leader
• Provide daily operation support to the Team Leader and the assigned division
• Become familiar with each business units’ processes in order to ensure the effectivity and efficiency
• Get involved in AR process related decisions
• Take part in process improvements and related projects
• Give process trainings to the new joiners
• Develop a good relationship with cross-functional teams (e.g. AP, FA, IT)
• Support changes and share best practices within the team
• Support the assigned division and monitor their performance
• Maintain the standard KPI and ensure their attainment with the division
• Supervise the business unit and ensure a smooth operation

Your Experience Should Be...

• University or college degree
• Very good knowledge of finance processes
• Experience and understanding of major ERP systems
• Fluency in English and an additional European language
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Self-confidence, accuracy
• Proactive, solution focus mind-set
• Strong Excel skills
