The Clerk II – Accounts Receivable (AR) will support the accounts receivable process by handling routine tasks such as collections, cash application, and payment investigations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable transactions, including cash applications and payment allocations.
Investigate and resolve basic payment discrepancies.
Assist with collections activities by following up on outstanding invoices.
Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.
Collaborate with internal teams to address billing and payment issues.
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
Educational Background:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger support, reconciliations, close support, or a related field required.
Certifications:
Certification in bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or accounting support preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with financial systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Good communication skills for client interactions.
