Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Fully Remote / Day Shift

Role Overview:

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the company’s billing and collections operations. This role will be responsible for preparing invoices, monitoring accounts receivable, following up on outstanding balances, performing account reconciliations, and maintaining accurate billing and collection records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and solid knowledge of accounts receivable processes.

The role will also collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and accurate collections, analyze AR and billing data, and identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Performs data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts (if required)
• Works with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner
• Maintain client & accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared
• Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner
• Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R so management can gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing
• Prepare and analyze the composition of actual billing data for presentation to clients
• Continuous evaluation of current policies and recommendations for process improvements

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business or related field
• 3-4 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions
