
Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager – Shared Services

Our client is a leading international logistics and supply chain organization currently expanding its financial shared services operations in Sofia. With a fast-paced, process-driven environment and ambitious growth plans, the company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead its AR function and support long-term scalability.
The AR Manager will lead the full spectrum of accounts receivable activities within the Shared Services Center. This includes ownership of intercompany invoicing, cash application, credit management, collections, dispute resolution, and AR reporting. The role requires someone who is highly structured, detail-oriented, and capable of building and managing a high-performing AR team.
Manage and oversee the end-to-end AR process within the shared services center
Ensure timely and accurate intercompany invoicing based on system triggers or contracts
Supervise the cash application process and minimize unapplied/unallocated transactions
Monitor credit limits and customer payment behavior
Lead dunning and collections efforts, ensuring timely resolution of overdue receivables
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment disputes
Oversee customer master data setup and maintenance, ensuring compliance with internal controls
Monitor AR aging reports and support monthly closing and provision activities
Deliver accurate AR reporting to senior finance and business stakeholders
Drive process improvements and implement best practices in AR operations
Solid financial background with direct experience in AR, credit, and collections
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AR management or a senior AR leadership role
Proven track record in managing finance teams and improving AR processes
Deep understanding of shared services operations and internal control frameworks
Proficient with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
Structured, analytical, and confident working independently
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Fluent in English
