Glasgow | £29.9k - £35.9k per annum (dependent on skills and qualifications)

Full-time

As the Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst at SGN you will be responsible for managing master data, credit and risk, billing, collections, disputes and deliver reporting on key metrics in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. The AR team member will have a daily ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time and on good terms with our valued partners.

  • Analysing AR ageing, executing collections, negotiating settlements and initiating legal action
  • Maintaining customer, price, product and tax master data and workflows
  • Investigating and resolving queries from customers and other stakeholders
  • Processing sales ledger invoices and reconciling in a timely manner
  • Processing bad debt
  • Allocating, releasing, tracking, changing and cancelling orders
  • Performing reconciliations and settlements
  • Validating deductions, issuing credit memos, performing appeasements and developing action plans
  • Generating and analysing financial reports

What you will need

  • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable
  • An understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • We would prefer if you had relevant industry experience. However, if you don’t have all the qualifications, but think you have other applicable experience that would make you a good fit for the role, we would still love to hear from you.
