Job Description

Community Accessability Inc is a values-based, not-for-profit organization that provides a vast array of services that support individuals with a disability and frail aged people to participate fully in their communities, be functional at home and live their best life. Our services are delivered throughout rural Victoria, southern NSW and Metropolitan Melbourne and are rapidly expanding.

of Responsibilities

This role is a permanent Part-time position working 2-3 days per week, with some degree of flexibility in hours.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key responsibilities will be:

  • Payroll processing each fortnight
  • Responding to payroll queries
  • Supplier payments processing
  • Accounts calls as well as coverage of reception phone line

To be considered for this role:

  • At least 2 + years experience in accounts with extensive payroll experience
  • Strong organisational, time management and planning skills .
  • Experience with customer service and client communication
  • Proficient in use of accounting software (preferable XERO) and computing skills including high level of competency in Excel spreadsheets.
  • High level communication with interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in collaboratively with a variety of key stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in the NDIS sector would be advantageous along with prior working knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services

Wages are per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award, level 3.
