The Accounts Payable Support Manager is responsible for leading teams in delivering accurate, timely, and consistent Accounts Payable support operations. This role provides day-to-day leadership, monitors team performance and service levels, manages operational escalations, and ensures adherence to established AP processes, policies, procedures, and controls. The role also drives continuous improvement, develops team capabilities, and partners with internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve overall service quality.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and individual performance goals
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight for Accounts Payable support operations
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, quality, and key performance indicators
  • Ensure team deliverables are completed accurately and within established service level agreements
  • Manage operational escalations and work with the team to identify root causes and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to established Accounts Payable processes, policies, procedures, and controls
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP support processes, efficiency, accuracy, and service quality
  • Drive process improvement and operational excellence initiatives within the team
  • Monitor recurring issues and support the implementation of sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support teams to resolve operational concerns and maintain service quality
  • Lead and support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and continuous development of team members
  • Provide regular performance feedback and guidance to team members
  • Identify opportunities to improve team capability, productivity, and overall operational performance
  • Ensure consistent execution of processes and corrective actions across the team
  • Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous learning within the team

What You Need to Succeed:
  • College degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Accounts Payable experience is required
  • Managerial or supervisory experience in a BPO, Shared Services, or Global Business Services environment is preferred
  • Experience leading or supervising teams in a structured, high-volume operations environment
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable operations and processes
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work in a structured, deadline-driven environment and consistently meet established SLAs
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, quality, and process consistency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business or enterprise systems
  • Experience with Accounts Payable systems such as SAP, Oracle, E-Automate, or Concur is an advantage
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve processes
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • English proficiency is required
  • Willingness to work on a third shift schedule
