The Role:

The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Offshore Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments to rostered timetables, EDI processes, both ERS and 3way supplier reconciliations. General duties also include handling escalations from suppliers and internal customers, supervising team members, reporting, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of offshore Accounts Payable team members to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.

  • Serve as a liaison for offshore teams, providing guidance, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment with Crown’s financial policies and standards.

  • Monitor offshore team performance, identify process gaps, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

  • Foster strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring high service levels are consistently met.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to build capability and ensure consistent performance

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements and best practices within the team.

About you:

  • Solid background in Accounts Payable processes, with the ability to mentor junior staff and oversee end-to-end workflows.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft Finance or similar ERP systems, with the capability to troubleshoot issues and support team training.

  • Proven experience managing high-volume data entry environments with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of handling sensitive tenant or client issues with professionalism and diplomacy.
