What You'll Do As our Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department while ensuring invoices, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time. You'll also:
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team
Ensure timely processing of invoices, ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs
Build strong relationships with vendors and internal business partners
Oversee month-end AP close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
Maintain strong internal controls and support audit activities
Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and continuous improvement
Partner with Operations, Procurement, Payroll, Project Managers, and Finance leadership to support business objectives
What You'll Bring We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with a passion for leadership.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
Experience using ERP/accounting software
Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, reconciliations, and financial controls
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
Construction, industrial services, environmental services, or field service industries
High-volume Accounts Payable operations
AP automation or ERP implementations
1099 reporting
Lean or continuous improvement initiatives
Private equity-backed organizations
