Accounts Payable Specialist

Do you have a passion for numbers and a knack for organization? Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference by ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency? As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our operations, working in a collaborative environment, and contributing to the success of our team. Your primary responsibilities will be focused on cash management and accounts payable functions for a portfolio of properties.

What You'll Do

• Process and manage accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review, verify, and reconcile invoices and expense reports.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payment processes.
• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
• Respond promptly to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and account status.
• Work on special projects as needed.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field desired but not required.
• You have 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related field.
• You’re proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• You’re highly organized and detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy.
• You’re a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
• You’re a problem-solver with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• You’re adaptable and eager to learn new systems and processes.
