Accounts Payable Specialist

In your role You will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative support task related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. In your daily work you will interact with Finance Team, Purchasing team and Master Data Team across all Datwyler Group.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable data entry using the 3‑way match principle
• Allocate expenses to correct accounts and cost centers
• Review and resolve invoice, order, contract, and payment discrepancies
• Validate, approve, and book invoices in the relevant systems
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and general ledger data
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage supplier inquiries
• Prioritize invoices based on payment terms and discount opportunities
• Perform monthly reconciliations and balance checks
• Ensure proper documentation according to company policies and accounting standards
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Purchasing teams across the Datwyler Group
• Contribute to process improvements within the AP function
• Support and train junior colleagues and onboard new team members
• Assist with other finance and accounting projects as needed

Our Requirements

• 1.5–3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Degree in finance, accounting, or related studies
• Fluent English (German, Italian considered an advantage)
• Experience working with SAP ERP
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Good organizational and prioritization skills
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset
• Structured, problem‑solving approach
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to change
• Willingness to learn and continuously develop
• You have a good sense of humor
