Accounts Payable Specialist

Avenue’s Admin team, located in Salt Lake City, UT, is looking for motivated individuals who are looking for a great culture and close-knit team. This position will be heavily involved in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Job Duties

• Prepare and process client invoices in coordination with project managers and the finance team
• Review, reconcile, and process company credit card receipts and employee expense reports
• Review and verify subconsultant invoices for accuracy, contract compliance, and proper documentation
• Assist with accounts payable and billing support functions as needed
• Prepare, distribute, and manage contracts for various services
• Enhance and maintain electronic filing systems for contracts, invoices, and administrative records
• Manage and maintain the company’s internal administrative platform, ensuring data accuracy and proper use
• Maintain organized paper and electronic records, compile reports, and manage spreadsheets and databases
• Coordinate workflow with other administrative staff and disciplines to ensure smooth operations
• Respond to general business inquiries and perform additional administrative support duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Associates degree or equivalent experience is required
• Notary preferred but not required
• Previous AP/AR experience is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and self-starter; can work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple high-priority assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn, provide feedback, and receive feedback
• High Level of confidentiality, trust, and integrity
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Prolonged periods of sitting and standing
