About the Role

Eureka Villages is excited to have on offer two opportunities to join our Finance team:

  • 1 x Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist (38 hours per week)
  • 1 x Part-Time Accounts Payable Specialist (22.8 hours per week / 3 days)

Both roles are based in our Brisbane Support Office. Hybrid arrangement.

The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments across multiple entities.

You’ll partner closely with the Finance team to support month end processes, maintain supplier relationships, and uphold compliance and audit standards.

Key responsibilities include

  • Manage end to end invoice processing.
  • Maintain disciplined month end controls, ensuring invoice cut off compliance and timely processing across all entities.
  • Prepare and process weekly ad-hoc payment runs
  • Support aged creditors management through regular review, follow up and escalation of outstanding supplier balances.
  • Complete reconciliations including weekly supplier statements and corporate credit cards and assist with month end accruals and reporting queries.
  • Support audit, compliance and governance requirements.
  • Contribute to system and process improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively across finance and operational teams.

About You

This role requires strong attention to detail, disciplined financial controls, and confidence working in a mostly manual AP environment.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable within a multi-entity environment
  • Strong understanding of GST treatment and invoice coding controls
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., MYOB or similar ERP)
  • Exposure to audit processes is desirable.
  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (desirable)
