Abano Healthcare is Australasia's largest dental support organization (DSO), dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to patients across Australia and New Zealand. We are a team of passionate professionals committed to supporting our network of over 250 dental practices and 700+ clinicians, empowering them to deliver the highest quality oral healthcare services.

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract Based in New Zealand, you will be responsible for managing the Australian accounts payable ledger, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and payment cycles.

The role requires strong skills in auto‑scanning/OCR technologies, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), and preferably experience with Australian GST

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices using auto‑scanning/OCR tools
• Complete accurate manual invoice validation
• Manage Australian supplier queries and maintain strong relationships
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs for Australian entities
• Maintain accurate and compliant AP records

Working Hours: 10:00am – 6:00pm NZT (aligned with Australian business hours)

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role
• Hands-on experience with auto‑scanning/OCR invoice systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Experience with Australian GST processing preferred
• Excellent accuracy, organisational skills, and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and confidence handling supplier escalations
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Competent in MS Office, especially Excel
