We offer an exciting opportunity for Accounts Payable Officers to be part of our team, who support the continued growth of our Shared Services Hub, supporting DOF entities globally.

Are you our new Accounts Payable Officer?

Here you will be part of a growing and busy accounting team, reporting to the Shared Service Accounting Manager. The team provide transactional and general accounting services to Manila and other DOF Group Entities.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices and verify financial data to ensure accurate recording of liabilities.
• Manage payment disbursals, including preparing and issuing payments to vendors.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to address and resolve any issues.
• Maintain records of accounts payable transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within a shared services environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end Accounts Payable processes
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial software with proficiency in MS Excel
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Experience working in a multicultural environment, with the ability to collaborate across regions and time zones
• Service-oriented mindset, with a proactive and solution-driven approach
• Demonstrates strong cooperation and teamwork skills
