PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prints invoices from vendor websites.
- Opens/Processes mail.
- Checks invoices and check requests for proper coding and signatures.
- Matches invoices in the ENVI system with received POs.
- Selects accounts payable invoices for payment based on vendor policies and terms.
- Prints and attaches checks to back-up paperwork.
- Makes payments online to various vendors.
- Distributes checks through the inter-company mail, US Postal Service, and/or FedEx.
- Excel spreadsheets for reporting
- Updates/Maintains vendor files.
- Reconciles vendor statements.
- Prepares 1099s.
- Prepares Sales and Use Tax Returns.
- Copies invoices for prepaid, assets, and work in progress.
- Compiles information and prepares reports.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or GED. Some college-level accounting coursework is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Three years of experience with accounts payable including one year of accounting experience in a health care organization. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for two years of accounts payable experience.
