Accounts Payable Clerk

As an Accounts Payable Clerk in our Finance function supporting the Spine division in Canada, you’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role in keeping financial operations running smoothly — processing invoices, managing payments, resolving discrepancies, and supporting accurate and timely vendor transactions.

What You’ll Do:

• Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and execute payment runs according to company policies and procedures
• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and vendor inquiries
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations
• Perform basic analyses and reconciliations of payables activity to identify and correct errors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and transaction verification procedures
• Support occasional billing activities and respond to related inquiries
• Keep financial records organized, accurate, and up to date

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field OR High School diploma with 2+ years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach to vendor interactions
• Comfort working independently while taking ownership of day-to-day responsibilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting/ERP systems is a plus

Compensation:
Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and performance with potential for bonuses and incentives plus benefits. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis and considers a variety of factors including experience level, skillset, and local market conditions.
