Job Description

Ohel is seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join our Entitlements Department as an Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for managing the financial billing and collection cycle for clients receiving Social Security (SSA/SSI) and Medicaid benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client billing and collections processes
  • Maintain and update client Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) accounts
  • Generate and distribute client invoices and statements
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Accurately track client personal fund accounts and agency service fees

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Prior bookkeeping and/or data management experience

Salary: $60,000–$65,000
