ACCOUNTING CLERK

Who You Are

You are a detail-oriented and organized professional with strong administrative and accounting support experience. You thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency. You possess strong communication and customer service skills, are comfortable working with financial data and accounting systems, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving and day-to-day office operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Post vendor invoices into the general ledger and process accounts payable checks.
• Reconcile daily sales reports and post transactions into the general ledger accurately and timely.
• Monitor accounts receivable activity and assist with payment tracking and collections support as needed.
• Process credit card transactions and prepare bank deposits.
• Provide front desk and phone support when necessary, delivering professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and financial documentation.
• Assist with additional administrative and accounting-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Skills You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of administrative assistant or related office experience required.
• Familiarity with basic accounting procedures, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Office applications required.
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and accounting software systems.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain organized records, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
