About the role

The Accounts Payable & Commissions Officer supports the Accounting and Treasury function for Vorwerk Australia and New Zealand subsidiaries. Reporting to the Accounting & Treasury Manager, this role is responsible for end-to-end AP processing and timely commission payments to our suppliers and ANZ independent salesforce.

The role ensures invoice integrity, compliant approvals, on time payments and disbursement in line with policy and contract terms. In addition, the role maintains accurate financial records, supports audits and tax preparation, and ensures compliance with applicable accounting standards through robust controls and processes.

About you

You’re an organised, detail‑oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with numbers, processes and people. With 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role, you’re confident managing end‑to‑end AP processing, commissions or payroll‑like payments, and ensuring records are accurate and compliant.

You bring a strong sense of ownership to your work, communicate clearly, and thrive in environments where deadlines, accuracy and stakeholder coordination are essential. You enjoy problem‑solving, improving processes and supporting a well‑functioning finance team.

You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Organised and able to meet a constant stream of deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Certificate or Diploma in Accounting/Finance, Bachelor degree is a plus but not essential
