Inclusive Excellence Statement Advertised Job Summary The Accounts Payable Analyst performs Accounts Payable payment request and research functions which may include posting, updating, reconciling, auditing, and preparing invoices for payment. Performs and researches the Accounts Payable exceptions analyzing and determining solutions.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Knowledge of the principles, practices, theories and terminology of accounting/bookkeeping. - Knowledge of state government fiscal accounting processes. - Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations. - Ability to perform analysis of financial records. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others. - Ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other Business related field with 2 years of accounting experience.
