GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Accounts Payable Clerk will support the Controllers and our Accounts Payable team, with a variety of accounting-related tasks. The role involves accounts payable duties, including receiving and matching, maintaining an accurate and PO log, and ensuring timely submission and payment of invoices. The AP Clerk also reviews division P-card batches and enters invoices into the company’s accounting system for processing.

As an AP Clerk with us, the minimum responsibilities are:

  • Assist with month-end district close process
  • Ensuring all invoices are entered at month-end for the A/P accrual
  • Reconciling of accounts
  • Vendor management
  • Additional related duties as required

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 1-2 years of related accounting experience or post-secondary level studies
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • An aptitude for numbers and data accuracy
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel Skills
  • Full Cycle accounting experience is asset
  • Great Interpersonal and Time Management skills
  • Strong communication skills with customers (both written and verbal)
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
