🔎 About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This critical role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices, managing expense reports, and maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers. 🌟 What You’ll Do
The primary responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Accountant include:

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process a high volume of vendor invoices, ensuring proper coding and adherence to company policies.

• Payment Execution: Prepare and process electronic payments and checks, coordinating with the Treasury team for timely disbursements.

• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Payable ledger to the general ledger, investigating and resolving discrepancies.

• Expense Management: Manage and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with T&E policies.

• Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor records, handle vendor inquiries professionally, and assist with new vendor setup.

• Month-End Close: Support the month-end close process by ensuring all AP transactions are recorded accurately and preparing relevant accruals.

• Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation the forms at year-end and ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations.

• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to existing AP processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.

✔️ What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: 2-4 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role; experience in a high-volume processing environment is a plus.

Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).

Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Knowledge: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger account reconciliation.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Independence: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a collaborative team member.
