The Accounting Operations Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of accounting through meticulous administrative and clerical support. This role demonstrates dependability in handling tasks, a caring attitude towards team collaboration, a proactive approach to improving processes, and a forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and solve challenges, all contributing to the operational success of the company.​

Accounts Payable

  • Reconcile and verify expense entries prior to payment processing to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policy.
  • Perform AP netting activities by reconciling intercompany and vendor balances to offset receivables and payables where applicable, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain netting schedules, supporting documents, and reconciliations in accordance with internal controls and accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and shared service teams to resolve discrepancies related to netting transactions.
  • Prepare WHT/VAT input tax reports and support tax-related reconciliation.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Administrative:

  • Source, manage, and control office supplies to ensure operational continuity.
  • Oversee and maintain office facilities and utility services, including photocopiers, internet, telephone, fax, electricity, and sanitation services.
  • Manage office equipment, company vehicles servicing/repairs, fixed asset insurance, and related contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage outsourced services such as messengers and cleaning staff.
  • Prepare company documents to support internal and external requests.
  • Assist in arranging corporate travel for expatriate staff, including flight tickets, accommodation, and transportation.
