The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper. Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support the mine.

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Accounts Officer - Management Accounting, who will support the management accounting team with various tasks such as budgeting, cost analysis, financial reporting, audits, reconciliation, and assisting in decision making process. This position is responsible for the management of Company Non-Life Insurance, Accounts Payable, Accounts Analysis and Reconciliation, Assist in external and Internal Audits, and provide support in Fixed Assets management. The role reports to Supervisor - Management Accounting.

Key task and responsibilities:

• Prepares accurate financial reports in a timely manner
• Analyses the contents of General Ledger accounts, account schedules and initiates adjustments of abnormal and incorrect balances
• Identifies issues and makes recommendations for addressing them
• Resolves invoice discrepancies with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Manages vendors suppliers, and contractor's inquiries regarding payment status
• Monitors project expenditures and individual expenses for reporting purposes
• Reads, interprets and uses budget plans and projections proficiently
• Management of company asset insurance renewals and claims (Motor Vehicles, Property, General Liability, Risk Liability and Performance Bond)
• Coordinate with the Management Accountant for the information for fixed assets, including analysis of the company’s insurance values when required.

• University degree in accounting

• 1 year experience in an accounting environment
