- The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for Pakistani and US-based companies. The role involves handling daily accounting operations, payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and supporting management reporting while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping of daily bank and credit card transactions for Pakistani and US-based companies, ensuring proper supporting documentation.
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure consistency between financial records and bank statements.
- Record and categorize revenues and expenses accurately in the accounting system and reconcile invoices with corresponding payments.
- Prepare and process vendor payments through bank transfers or cheques in accordance with company policies and approval procedures.
- Maintain detailed records of vendor advances, settlements, and applicable withholding taxes.
- Process monthly and weekly payroll for Pakistani and US companies, ensuring timely salary disbursement and accurate calculation of taxes, deductions, loans, and advances.
- Maintain employee loan and advance records and ensure accurate payroll deductions and reconciliations.
- Distribute pay slips to employees and resolve payroll-related discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in preparation of withholding tax and employee income tax reports for Pakistani entities and coordinate with tax consultants for timely filing and payment of challans.
- Support statutory compliance for Pakistani companies, including documentation and submissions to relevant regulatory and social security authorities.
- Assist in compliance-related matters for US companies, including coordination with consultants and preparation of required financial documentation.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial accounts, management reports, and financial data for group dashboards covering both Pakistani and US operations.
- Maintain accounts receivable records, aging reports, and support timely follow-up on outstanding balances.
- Liaise with banking institutions regarding remittances and routine banking matters.
- Assist in preparation of annual accounts, audits, and tax return filings by organizing and compiling financial documentation for both Pakistani and US companies.
- Provide support to the manager in routine and ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required.
Mandatory Skills
- Experience with accounting software QuickBooks Desktop & Online and/or MS Excel
- Ability to manage accounting records accurately and professionally
- Good communication and coordination skills
Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Level
- 2 - 3 Years of Relevant USA Accounting experience
