Job Overview

The Accounts Executive / Imports Executive will manage import-related accounting and operational activities, including Letter of Credit (LC) handling, supplier payments, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), import documentation, and supplier payments.
• Coordinate with banks and international suppliers on import transactions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant import regulations and financial requirements.
• Maintain accurate financial records and import-related documentation.
• Assist with account reconciliations and import reporting.
• Support audit preparations and related financial activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience in LC handling and import finance, preferably in the automotive or trading sector.
• Part or full professional qualifications such as AAT, CMA, or CA Sri Lanka.
• Good understanding of import procedures, accounting, and financial systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
