Job Description

Position : Account & Admin Executive (Junior & Senior - 2 vacancies )

Company Background : Food Manufacturing

Work Location : Balakong, Selangor

Working Hour : 8:00AM - 5:00AM (Mon - Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the full set of company accounts (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable) accurately and timely ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
  • Execute and review month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and intercompany reconciliation.
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet and cash flow statements for review by the Manager.
  • Monitor and analyse production costs, material usage variances and overhead allocation specific to the manufacturing process.
  • Oversee and reconcile inventory movement (raw materials, WIP, finished goods) within the SQL Accounting System module.
  • Assist in preparing schedules for tax submissions (e.g., SST, income tax schedules) and liaise with external auditors, tax agents and company secretary.
  • Review and strengthen existing internal financial and operational controls to minimize risk, fraud and wastage, especially concerning inventory and cash handling.
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements for accounting and administrative workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist the Account & Admin Manager in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior administrative or accounts staff (if applicable) and coordinate with other departments (Sales, Production) to obtain necessary documentation and data.
  • Perform other related duties and ad-hoc assignments as required by management.

Job requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Professional Accounting Certificate
  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in managing full-set accounts experience in the F&B or Manufacturing sector
  • Familiar with SQL Accounting Software is preferable.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for the Junior Executive role
