Responsibilities

• Reporting to AR/AP Accountant supporting her on various aspects of the Accounts Payable/Receivables function.
• Perform various finance processes such as:
  • Matching/validating/booking of supplier invoices
  • Checking/auditing/follow up of employee expense claims
  • Receipts and payments
• Perform AR/AP to GL control account reconciliations; verify and justify AR/AP balances, investigate and resolve any irregularities
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Assist the team to prepare balance sheet schedules
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (eg. Supply chain, procurement) on task related issues as and when necessary
• Draft and prepare documentation of AR/AP processes

Job qualifications and requirements:

• Diploma, major in Finance and Accounting
• At least 2 years in accounting position; focus on Accounts Payable and GL functions is a plus
• Proficient in ERP system such as SAP is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Self-driven and keen attention to detail, independent and team player
• Be an analytical thinker with strong investigative and problem-solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong sense of integrity
• 1 year contract with 18 days of annual leave + completion bonus, 5 days week, MNC
