Our client, a well-established Corporate Service Provider in Malta, is looking for an Accounts Executive to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients, build strong relationships, and develop your expertise within a dynamic environment.
This is a hybrid role offering a salary of up to €35K, depending on experience.
Please note that only candidates already based in Malta can be considered.
Role & Responsibilities
Complete management accounts for your portfolio of clients
Prepare and submit client VAT returns
Ensure that your work is completed in line with statutory requirements
Liaise with the tax administration team on tax computations, tax returns, and tax refunds
Liaise with auditors, tax and VAT departments, and the MBR as required
Collaborate with internal departments to obtain information for financial statements and statutory returns
Attend client meetings
Education, Skills & Experience
Partly qualified Accountant, holding a degree in Accountancy, or currently at the final stages of completing ACCA
2+ years of experience in client accounting
Experience working with licensed entities and financial services companies is a plus
Customer oriented with the ability to exceed client expectations
Fluency in English at a C2/Native level both written and spoken
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Competent in MS Office tools and Sage Line 50
Able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines
