We work collaboratively with clients, families, and communities to deliver person-centred support that makes a real difference. Our mission is grounded in respect, inclusion, and the belief that everyone deserves access to quality services tailored to their individual needs.

Accounts Coordinator

Join the finance team at Disability Connect Victoria

Disability Connect Victoria is seeking an experienced Accounts Coordinator to support the smooth, accurate and timely management of finance and accounts. This role would suit someone with a strong background in NDIS finance and accounts management—particularly someone with NDIS plan management experience—or someone with relevant accounting qualifications and practical finance experience.

About the role

You’ll help coordinate day-to-day accounts and finance administration, maintain accurate records, and support reliable financial processes. You’ll work closely with the finance team and colleagues across the organisation, bringing care, discretion and attention to detail to work that supports people with disability.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and following up outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support reconciliations and routine reporting.
  • Assist with budgets, payment tracking and other finance administration.
  • Apply your knowledge of NDIS-related finance and accounts processes, including plan management processes where relevant.
  • Respond to finance and account enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Help maintain clear, consistent and confidential financial procedures and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

About you

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in NDIS finance and accounts management.
  • Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Clear, respectful communication and a collaborative approach.
  • Sound judgement when handling confidential financial information.
  • Good computer skills and the ability to learn finance systems and processes.
  • Demonstrated experience with Xero

Ideally, you will also have either:

  • Experience in NDIS plan management; or
  • Relevant accounting qualifications, such as a Certificate IV, diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to contribute to the work of an exciting new chapter for Disability Connect Victoria.
  • A collaborative role within the finance team
  • A supportive and collaborative workplace culture that values psychosocial safety, diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing
  • Flexible working arrangements wherever possible to support your work-life balance
  • Access to employee assistance programmes and wellbeing initiatives
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people living with disabilities or mental health conditions
  • Join an innovative team that is passionate about delivering quality, person-centred support

How to apply

Please submit your resume and cover letter outlining your relevant NDIS finance and accounts experience and, where applicable, your plan management experience or accounting qualifications.
