At Fenix UAS, we’re right in the middle of one of the fastest-growing industries in the world—drone technology. We’re known for setting the standard in unmanned aviation across New Zealand and the Pacific, and with new contracts rolling in, things are only getting busier.

That’s where you come in.

What you’ll be doing

You will act as the central coordination point for government client activity, and alongside this you will take care of day-to-day accounting tasks, such as invoicing, accounts administration, follow up and reconciliations, while providing admin support to leadership so the wider business can run smoothly.

This role has an important focus on supporting our government customers, so we need someone who can build trust, understand different client requirements, and coordinate activity professionally from end to end.

It’s not a role where you’ll be stuck doing the same thing all day. Some days you’ll be deep in accounts and reporting, others you will be coordinating training logistics. It’s varied, fast-paced, and perfect for someone who likes to stay one step ahead.

About you I Our ideal candidate

You are naturally organised, financially savvy and have an eye for detail. You’re the type of person who spots what others miss, communicates well with a wide range of people and knows how to keep things moving without needing to be chased.

You’ll likely bring solid experience in accounts administration or finance support, along with strong coordination or customer service skills. Experience working with government clients or in environments where professionalism, process and responsiveness matter will be a real advantage.

We work hard because the industry is busy, but we back each other up, keep things practical, and enjoy a good laugh along the way.
