Find your role

In this role, you'll be pivotal to ensuring that our corporate and business strategies are supported by the very best financial accounting and control processes – and that these processes continually maximise our profitability and efficiency.

This role will give you a solid grounding in management accounting and enable you to gain knowledge of a range of different commercial areas across the business.

Your role

• Accurate and timely preparation of financial information for reporting internally and externally, including adherence of group accounting policies and procedures and managing the related financial control environment
• Working as part of a team to deliver the above for our Retail and Employment Costs sides of the business
• Posting of journals, reconciling Balance Sheet accounts and validating supplier income
• Ensuring accuracy of financial data through efficient controls to help support analysis of business performance with Commercial Finance teams.
• Customer focussed; ensure we deliver great service to our customers
• Use ingenuity to implement change for the better and work with a continuous improvement mindset.

• Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience within a relevant discipline
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to adapt to and learn from change, challenges, and feedback
• A talent for problem solving and the ability to apply judgement based on the situation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Ability to work flexibly with changing work demands and tasks
• A customer focused attitude and be happy to help
