£30,000–£35,000 per annum (depending on experience) | Reading | Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm with flexibility
Are you an organised, numerate Accounts Assistant looking for your next step in a growing business?
Our client is a well-established and growing SME based in Reading, and they’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
This is a busy, hands-on transactional finance role, ideal for someone who enjoys working at pace, has excellent attention to detail and is keen to develop their accounting career. You’ll be dealing with around 5,000 payments each month, alongside reconciliations, supplier and subcontractor payments, statements and a small amount of credit control.
What you'll be doing
You’ll also have exposure to a varied client portfolio, including public sector clients, giving you plenty of variety and responsibility.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is:
Previous experience in accounts, finance administration, bookkeeping or property accounts would be advantageous.
