Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments and receipts.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices, statements of accounts and payment reminders.
  • Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before processing payments.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and assist with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, filing systems and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end closing, financial reporting and preparation of audit schedules.
  • Process staff claims, petty cash transactions and other finance-related administrative matters.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the finance team when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma, Higher Nitec or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates with suitable qualifications may also be considered.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel will be advantageous.
  • Careful, organised and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
