Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Finance team in Moorabool, Victoria. This permanent, full-time position is ideal for a candidate with solid foundational bookkeeping experience who is looking to build their skills further in a growing manufacturing business. Reporting into the Senior Accountant, the Bookkeeper will support the day-to-day processing of transactions, reconciliations and record-keeping that underpin the team’s broader accounts payable, accounts receivable and reporting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code supplier and customer invoices for review and approval
• Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers and filing systems
• Reconcile bank statements and support resolution of discrepancies
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports and budget data
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Communicate professionally with clients and suppliers on routine financial matters
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required

About you:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a bookkeeping, accounts or finance administration role
• Education in accounting or finance is desirable
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Confidence working within an ERP system
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
