This position is responsible for assisting in the overall inventory accuracy program for the Distribution Center. The Department Order Specialist must
work closely with daily operations assisting in inventory flow throughout the various departments. Order Specialist
will assist operational employees, cycle counters and inventory associates for inventory accuracy requirements. This
position requires advanced knowledge of inventory control and developed skills using the WM system.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (Pre-Qualified Position)
o Knowledgeable of all inventories flow aspects of the Distribution Center.
o Knowledgeable of the WM system. This position requires cross department knowledge within
the Distribution Center using WM.
o Proficient with inventory accuracy option on WM.
o
The Department Order Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and adjusting inventory in: Reserve, Active Case Pick,

and Transitional.
o The Department Order Stock Specialist has to be able to use the inventory accuracy options provided by the WM system
to facilitate production flow.
o Assist the Inventory Accuracy leadership team on assessment, researching and developing inventory accuracy
requirements. Understand and provide explanations for inventory adjustments.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
o High School education or equivalent.
o Demonstrated effective interpersonal skill. Must be able to interact positively with employees at all
levels and under a variety of conditions.
o Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
o Ability to work flexible shift schedules with short notice. May be asked 2 to 3 days in advance to switch shifts.
o Prefer Certification and experience operating powered equipment including turret truck.
o Demonstrate strong communication/presentation skills, verbal and written.
o Advance knowledge of inventory WMS applications as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
o Demonstrate ability to perform with minimal supervision.
o Strong resolution skills required for resolving daily inaccuracy issues. Must be able to work well under
time constraints.
o Must pass or previously passed "Hay Assessment Test"
