Job Title: Accounting and Tax Manager

The Accounting and Tax Manager will oversee the accounting department's daily operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective internal controls. This role involves managing a team of accounting associates, coordinating audits, and supporting strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and tax compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate and lead external audits, BIR audits and internal control reviews.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with local government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations.
• Experience in tax planning and compliance.
